Specialist Welding Services was established in 1994 by Calum Macphail. In May 2003, the business was incorporated as Specialist Welding Services Ltd (SWS Ltd).

Over the years, SWS Ltd has developed a small yet highly adaptable workforce. This team has enabled us to cater for an increasingly diverse and expanding client base.

SWS Ltd holds a contract with Aqualine AS, a Norwegian company recognised as the world’s largest marine cage supplier. Our partnership with Aqualine AS has offered us the opportunity to undertake projects across the globe, including recent work in the Faroe Islands, Norway, Tasmania, and Ireland.

Our company has recently completed projects for a range of organisations, such as Scottish Water, Trident Engineering Consultants, Scottish Fuels, Scotia Gas Networks, local authorities, and various construction companies.
